Overview

Crude Stakes is a digital board game. The game does not require players to create a separate Crude Stakes account.

Online Multiplayer

Online multiplayer uses Epic Online Services (EOS) Connect with a device guest identity for login, lobby discovery, and multiplayer connectivity. EOS assigns a product user identifier and receives the display name you choose. EOS may also process device and connection identifiers, lobby and member metadata, network traffic, and service diagnostics needed to provide these features. Epic handles that information under its own privacy terms.

Game Data

Multiplayer sessions use the game name, host and player display names, join code, lobby visibility and settings, player counts, seat and character selection, readiness state, version information, and gameplay messages needed to run a match. The host processes hidden match state and sends each player the public state and any private reports addressed to that player.

Data Stored on Your Device

Crude Stakes stores settings, campaign progress, a resumable offline match, and your multiplayer guest identifier and display name in the game's local application-data folder. Offline match saves can contain complete gameplay state, including the hidden field needed to resume the match. The current build does not provide cloud saves or upload these save files.

Local Diagnostics

The game writes local match journals, crash flight-recorder reports, and multiplayer debug messages for troubleshooting. These files can include timestamps, game and scene state, board and scenario identifiers, player display names, lobby or connection events, gameplay events, and engine/runtime information. Match journals and crash reports each retain at most 12 files. The multiplayer debug log persists until it is deleted or the application data is removed. The game does not automatically send these files to the developer; share them only when you choose to submit a support report.

Retention and Deletion

Settings, identity, campaign progress, and offline saves remain on the device until the game replaces them or you delete the files. EOS also maintains a local cache used by its services. You can remove the game's locally stored data by deleting its application-data folder. See the Support page for the current Windows location. Data processed by Epic is subject to Epic's own retention and deletion practices.

What the Game Does Not Request

Crude Stakes does not request payment details, email passwords, or a separate Crude Stakes account password. The current EOS flow does not ask you to sign in to an Epic account.

Contact

For privacy questions or support, contact the developer through the store page or website where Crude Stakes is distributed. See the Support page before sending diagnostic files.
